Biography
Berthe Tanwo Njole
I am Berthe Tanwo Njole, a seasoned actor with more than a decade of experience in the industry. I have become known for my compelling performances across television, film, and theater.
Originally from Cameroon and now based in Belgium, I gradually made a name for myself by portraying characters such as Annette in “Thuis,” Mama Kofi in “Kameleon,” the Prime Minister in “Alter Ego,” Hotel in “Two To Tango,” and Catherine in “Le Grand Cirque.”
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with renowned talents like Eric Cantona, Booder, Koen De Bouw, Barbara Sarafian and Vincent Lagaf.
In addition to acting, I am a singer-songwriter and pianist. I released a six-song EP in French in 2017, followed by an album in English in 2021, both funded through successful crowdfunding campaigns.
Alongside my musical partner, David Corleone, I had the honor of opening for Toots & The Maytals and Collective Inna Di Yard at the prestigious Olympia in Paris in 2018 and 2019. In 2022, I was nominated for French Woman Artist of the Year at the Victoires du Reggae.
I also serve as a columnist and host for film festivals, adding another string to my bow.
To keep honing my craft, I participate in workshops with industry professionals like Harry Blumenau, Gabby King, Heidi Lawry, and Holt McCallany.
My passion for Latin dance highlights my love for rhythm and movement, while swimming and cycling keep me active and energized.
My talent and dedication continue to help me captivate audiences, setting me apart in the entertainment industry.
